Mr. Gabriel is a true football legend along with a fan favorite from the Los Angeles Rams 1962 through 1972. During his tenure in Los Angeles, he was the NFL MVP in 1969.
He was then traded to the Philadelphia Eagles where he was the Comeback Player of the Year in 1973. Mr. Gabriel was a member of the Eagles from 1973-1977. His very last pass in the NFL was a reception to Vince Papale (Invincable) which was Mr. Papale's only catch as a receiver.
During his tenure in the NFL, Mr. Gabriel was a 2 Time All Pro and went to 4 Pro Bowls. He was also the MVP for the Pro Bowl in 1968.
Mr. Gabriel is a proud alumnist of North Carolina State where he was a 2 Time All American Quarterback. He was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1989.
