Cornell Green

We are very pleased the Dallas Cowboy Legend Cornell Green has joined our family of Exclusive Appearance Athletes.

Mr. Green did not play college football.  He was an 2 Time All American basketball player in 1961 & 1962 at Utah State University.
The Dallas Cowboys were known for looking outside of College Football for great athletes.  Acting on a tip from his college basketball coach, the Cowboys scouted Cornell Green and offered him a $1,000 signing bonus as a rookie free agent in 1962.

Mr. Green made the team that year and learned the defensive back position well enough that year to start 3 games.
During his tenure with the Dallas Cowboys, Mr. Green was named to 5 Pro Bowls, 4 All Pro teams, played in 2 Super Bowls and won Super Bowl VI.  Mr. Green never missed a game in 13 years with the Dallas Cowboys and in 1985 was named to their Silver Anniversary Team.

Mr. Green never really had a post football life.  For 35 years he was an NFL scout, including 28 years with the Denver Broncos where his friend and teammate Dan Reeves brought him over in 1987.

Cornell Green is available for autograph appearances and speaking engagements.  For information on scheduling Mr. Green, please contact Rich Lieberman.
